Almost the End

I need a break, so I'm writing a blog to update those of you who actually read this thing.

I'm almost done. I'm falling apart, but almost done.

I have four weeks of student teaching left. I will be teaching everyday, so this ought to be interesting. I have to plan out all the lessons for the next four weeks, but this week is pretty solid, just a few things left to deal with on that front.

School is... school. I freaked thinking we had a paper due on Friday that I clearly did not do since I was freaked. I emailed my prof who got back to me and said, yes there was something due. Almost flipped a lid sitting here. I asked what exactly was due, since I looked at the updated syllabus and it said week 7. She thought I meant the first paper when I was talking about the second paper. We can save that particular heart attack for another time - I've got two weeks before that sucker is due.

I'm the Secretary of the Cal alum. There is a newsletter due to be mailed out. The newsletter isn't even done. This could get interesting real quick...

There's a marathon next weekend. I'm supposed to run in it. Let's not discuss how far I'm actually going to get. I haven't run in two weeks, am still sick, and have had a headache for seven days straight. Clearly, I am really looking forward to this fantastic time.

Oh well, there's my updates. Back to lesson planning and prepping for a principal chat to discuss my future.
